- Its hoof shape provides excellent stability during use, whether in a free descent (i.e., with the bail open and the lure allowed to sink) or a controlled descent (the line is slid between the fingers to slightly slow the descent). It will always rest perfectly on the seabed.
- Its raised, beak-shaped front allows it to make small hops when the angler wishes without snagging the bottom and remaining as natural as possible, as if the shrimp were taking a small jump to move. This allows you to trigger a bite at certain moments.
