Inspired by the common name for sea bass or sea wolf in Italy, the Branzino rods feature the latest technologies, such as SVF Compile-X carbon, which blends several types of resins to better bond the carbon fibers. Daiwa utilizes Toray's nanotechnology and optimizes it with its own manufacturing processes to fine-tune the resins at the nanometer scale! This manufacturing technique results in ultra-high-density blanks that are more sensitive, lighter, and stronger all at once. Their carbon frame retains its thickness but features a thinner sheath covering a new silver cobalt oxide ring. The frame, 30% lighter and 35% smaller, significantly increases casting distances by drastically reducing tip vibrations during the cast. To develop these new ultra-high-tech carbons, Daiwa Japan engineers used ESS technology, which analyzes the blank's resistance during casting and under tension using digital sensors. The computer records and corrects the rod's action with microscopic precision to refine the expertise of specialist anglers beforehand. Technologies of the Morethan Branzino AGS Shore Battle Commander II rod: AGS Carbon Guides: Developed by Daiwa, AGS technology offers a unique and exclusive guide structure. The AGS ring frame is made of a specific, highly resonant carbon that offers the best in terms of feel. 3DX: Made from multidirectional fabrics in 3 equiangular axes (60°), and a hexagonal carbon structure boosting the rod's power. X45: This manufacturing process involves layering spiral carbon fibers (90°), unidirectional fibers (0°) in three layers, and two layers of carbon laid down by two opposing helical windings (45°). These two additional cross-wraps gave rise to the name Bias Cross Wrap. Nanoplus: The nano-fixation of the resins optimizes the bonding of Daiwa's best carbons to obtain ultra-high density blanks that are more sensitive, lighter, and stronger all at once. V-JOINT: It improves the rod's curve and action under compression of the blank, during casting or fighting a fish. ZERO COATING: Colorimetric treatment injected with pigments into the carbon fibers. This unique nanotechnology uses neither varnish nor paint. Features:
