Key Features of the Rock Shallow
Anti-reverse Stem: A metal anti-reverse stem keeps the shrimp in place and prevents it from slipping on the shank during retrieval or in strong currents. Main Hook: Reinforced and ultra-sharp, its shape perfectly matches that of the shrimp for a very natural presentation. Assist Hook: The round assist hook is a strong piece of iron with a formidable point. Small but very robust, its size is perfectly suited to the mouths of sea bream. Set in the shrimp's head, it will react to the slightest bite and leave the fish no chance. Braid with Fluorescent Silicone Strands: The braid of the assist hook is equipped with thin strands of fluorescent silicone that match the color of the tenya. Long and supple, these strands will remind predators of the legs and mobile antennae of a shrimp. Their movement in the water and their subtle vibrations further enhance the tenya's appeal. The fluorescent colors react to UV light, especially in shallow areas. "Stand-up" position: The specific flat surface on the underside of the tenya ensures it always lands flat upon contact with the bottom, never tipping over. Angled at 45°, the hook sits high above the bottom, minimizing the risk of snags. The natural presentation of the shrimp is ideal for hooking even the most tentative bites from sparid fish. Recommended bait: Shrimp, pieces of prawn, squid, sardines, worms, cockles... Target fish: The tenya is the ultimate multi-species fishing technique! Originally designed for fishing for sparid fish, they are very effective on sea bream, white sea bream, red porgy, rockfish, bottom-dwelling fish, bass, sea bass, red mullet, and even cephalopods!
