is constructed with a 3-layer polyurethane-laminated nylon fabric, providing high waterproofing (20k) and extreme breathability (30k). A durable water repellent (DWR) finish allows the jacket to effectively shed water droplets. To complement the fabric's performance, the cut of thisOrvis jacket
offers both style and freedom of movement. All seams are double-stitched for added durability. The hood provides excellent head protection and is adjustable in three places to stay securely in place with or without a cap. The sleeves feature adjustable Velcro wrist closures combined with "Dolphin Skin" fabric, which conforms well to the skin and enhances the garment's waterproofness. Once the closures are adjusted to the wrist size, it's possible to briefly dip your arm in water without letting water into the jacket. The YKK AquaGard® zippers are water-resistant and remain flexible. They protect the contents of the pockets from rain and splashes. The main YKK AquaGard® zipper is therefore highly protective and easy to use. In terms of organization, the Ultralight Jacket has two front storage pockets. Two integrated side pockets with stretch mesh linings remain compact and can hold boxes or spools of thread if needed. Two rubber accessory loops are provided for attaching thread cutters using a service button or for clipping pliers without damaging the waterproof fabric.
