Description
The
PINTAIL48
was created byJACKSON
to meet the demand of tuna fishermen in the Mediterranean.Tuna love the
PINTAIL48
because its size perfectly matches that of their favorite food. A lure of this size, 10cm, was needed, but one that could be cast with powerful rods capable of landing tuna weighing over 60kg. Thanks to its density, close to that of lead, thePINTAIL48
reaches feeding frenzies without damaging them, even in windy conditions. ThePINTAIL48
is used with a fast, straight retrieve interspersed with sharp twitches of the rod tip just below the surface. However, when the fish are in the lower water layers, you can let it sink to the bottom; it then works almost like a jig and catches fish at all depths. Thanks to its wide sides, it captures sunlight and reflects light, attracting fish from a great distance.
