After forming a loop with the tying thread using the two arms of the twister, simply wax the thread and place a portion of dubbing inside the loop. By distributing the fibers within the loop, the wax will help keep the dubbing in place. Once this is done, simply hold the central cylinder in one hand and vigorously twist the base of the
JMC twister
. As it twists, the loop will trap the fibers. It is sometimes necessary to repeat this several times to ensure the loop is twisted along its entire length. Once prepared, the dubbing can be wrapped around the hook using theJMC twister
