UV light is a fringe of the light spectrum that humans cannot see, but that many animals can see and perceive...including squids! Sunlight reaches the upper layers of the water more easily than deeper waters. However, UV rays penetrate deeper into the water column, which is why your Egi KEIMURA will attract more attention than other colors in deep water! The KEIMURA's appearance in deep water is generally in white/blue tones. You can achieve the same effect as a squid by placing your Egi KEIMURA under black light.
