Available in various sizes from 2 mm to 3.3 mm, these white split tungsten beads are perfect for nymph tying, especially on jig hooks. Designed for easier insertion of the bead onto the hook, the split improves its positioning, even on a hook with an offset eye. These white split tungsten beads are undeniably effective on nymphs in cold or slightly murky water. Their higher density than brass allows them to reach the lower water layers more quickly, enticing fish holding near the bottom. Simply place them on the hook, slightly off-center to ensure the hook point is fully exposed, allowing the nymphs to be presented with the point facing upwards. This reduces the risk of snagging and ensures the fish are hooked in the upper lip, thus limiting the risk of losing the hook.
