Description
The Certate for Heavy-Duty Saltwater Fishing
Following its LT and LT ARK versions, the Certate is now available in an SW (Saltwater) version. The Certate is a reel highly regarded by saltwater anglers and is now a benchmark in compact, powerful, and robust spinning reels.
Power and Robustness
A true successor to the Catalina, the Certate SW features the Monocoque Body, just like the Saltiga 20. This one-piece, machined aluminum structure gives the Certate SW exceptional strength and robustness. The Monocoque Body also allows the reel to be equipped with a large Tough Digigear drive gear, with a high number of teeth for a significant power increase.
Another feature it shares with the Saltiga 20: the ATD (Automatic Tournament Drag) clicker is very audible, allowing the angler to precisely adjust the drag knob, not to mention enhancing the fishing experience. Guaranteed thrills! Light and Smooth: Thanks to its ZAION carbon Air Rotor, the reel's rotation is smoother and lighter: a real comfort boost for heavy-duty fishing enthusiasts. A Magsealed bearing in the line roller and the Magsealed oil around the reel's main shaft improve the Certate SW's resistance to corrosive salt elements. The smoothness of the retrieve is unparalleled. During the fight, the roller offers perfect fluidity so as not to disrupt the progressive action of the ATD drag.Fighting Handles
The slow-ratio models (P models) are equipped with a round EVA handle, particularly suited for vertical jigging.
The Certate SW is therefore positioned as a perfect compromise between the Saltiga 20 and the Certate LT 19. It is a front-drag reel designed for active and fast-paced casting.
