Tungsten is a very dense metal, weighing almost twice as much as brass. JMC PG tungsten nymph bodies are shaped to fit curved hooks. A groove is provided for easy insertion onto the hook. It is sometimes necessary to apply a small amount of strong glue to the hook shank before starting to tie the nymph with 8/0 or 6/0 line.
