Details
CDC (Cul de Canard) is a natural material with highly mobile microfibers that are very hydrophobic when dry. However, after a few casts, the fly can become waterlogged and difficult to dry. To effectively grease your CDC dry flies and extend their fishing time, JMC offers a
special CDC grease
. This special grease makes Cul de Canard flies float without deforming or sticking the fibers together. Before using your fly, apply a light touch of JMCCDC grease
to the fibers, taking care to coat the fly well, and your artificial fly will float effectively. After a catch, if your CDC fly is waterlogged, dry it with Dry Shake, then reapply thespecial CDC grease
to resume effective fishing.
